On 15th June, SEBA has declared class 10 HSLC result after 12 noon. After lot of anomalies, confusions, re-exam etc., the result has finally declared. This year, SEBA has set some unique records which were not experienced in yesteryear, like- chewing of answer sheet by a cow(???), wrong question paper distribution in more than one time etc.! Anyway, the result has been come out & total 6 students achieved first three positions. They are -
Gyandeep Sarma, Vaswati Deka & Stuty Khound. Two achieved second positions, they are - Shahinoor Rahman And Parijat Priyadarshin & third placed achieved by Priyanka Bezbaruah. Noticebly, two out three first position achievers are from Shankardev Shishu Bidya Niketan.
Like previous years, this year also private schools managed to achieve better results than govt. schools. This is a clear indication that whatever our government declares and demands about development in the education sector, nothing is properly done what it should have been.
Headed by Shantikam Hazarika, an appointee of education minister of Assam DR. Himanta Bishwa Sharma, this year SEBA has been creating history one after another not for good reasons but for anomalies. By latest, news has come to limelight that the students who did not appear for exams on certain papers like Sanskrit, got marks on Arabic. Even some students who did not appear for exam on any paper, received marks. Not only this, that person(S. Hazarika) also accused of handling whole the department in his own style and own interest. When education sector is under threat in any society, than what it could be much more expected from other sectors!! May God save Assam!!
